There would be no better definition if you wanted to describe the music of the Dirty Fred blues band. They use various elements of Gospel, Rock, Funk and even Jazz, but Blues is the most important substance. They are modern and unconventional, but they also respect the great traditions and the roots of their genre.
On the spring of 2009 Hubert Tubbs — the daredevil of soul and funky, the ex leader vocalist of the legendary Tower of Power — steps on international stages with musicians from Hungary and Slovakia playing a blend of traditional songs and modern funk-rock grooves. Hubert's earthy voice and extraordinary performance is supported by the band’s intense exchange of energy and emotions.

There is magic on the stage and the audience is enchanted by the freedom of music and delight of the soul.
From the start of their common work they have been invited to jazz and blues festivals in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, they also appeared twice in Hungarys biggest music event the Sziget Festival.
